Delicious Keto Pumpkin Spice Mocha Latte

pumpkin mocha latte

It’s almost fall. Pumpkin is back. And I now have a reason to post pumpkin recipes all day while I sip on this delicious paleo and keto pumpkin spice latte.

We already have the basic pumpkin recipes on the blog- pumpkin pie spice blend and a homemade pumpkin puree.

In this recipe, I’ve combined both of them with my other favorite ingredients- coffee and chocolate- into this delicious pumpkin spice latte recipe.

If you’ve read the popular list of 101 low carb foods for a keto diet, you would notice that pumpkin is not on the list. This begs the question:

Is Pumpkin Low Carb?

Yes, you can eat pumpkin on keto without worrying about staying in ketosis. The amount of pumpkin that the recipe calls for is just two tablespoons of pumpkin puree. This amounts to 0.5 grams of carbs in this pumpkin spice latte.

Not only is it low in carbs, it’s also gluten free and paleo friendly.

If you want to be sure that this pumpkin mocha latte is low carb, ensure that you use a sugar-free whipped cream, sugar free pumpkin puree, and most importantly, a sugar substitute like erythritol or stevia.

You can make a large batch of this pumpkin spice latte and even use it to make bulletproof pumpkin latte. Just add some grass-fed butter and MCT oil.
