keto chocolate smoothie under 6g carbs

Keto Nutty Brownie Chocolate Smoothie | 6g Carbs

This is a new take on the classic keto peanut smoothie, mixed with chocolate and cream for a delicious keto smoothie that you can use to meal prep or for a quick breakfast.

The keto smoothie recipe has less than 7 carbs and over 25g fat. You can easily make a batch of this to have as a part of your keto breakfast recipe rotation.

The recipe can be made with half a cup of heavy cream (23g fat, 1g net carbs, 3g protein) or full-fat milk blended with crushed ice for extra thickness.

If you want fewer carbs in this keto chocolate smoothie, use one tbsp of cocoa powder instead of two. It’s also important to check the brand of cocoa powder to ensure it doesn’t have added sugar. The same goes for the peanut butter.

Chocolate + peanut butter + heavy cream= nutty brownie smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tsp erythritol (optional)
  • 1 tbsp MCT oil (optional)
  • pinch of salt

Method: Blend everything together until smooth and enjoy it right away.  If it’s too thick, add a little water until you get your desired consistency.

To break down the carb count for you:

  • 1g net carbs from heavy cream
  • 1g net (3.5g fiber) from 50g avocado
  • 2g net (2g fiber) from 2 tbsp cacao
  • 2g net carbs from 1tbsp peanut butter

That brings this recipe to 6g net carbs total. It’s always encouraged to do your own macronutrient check because all products are different.
